This September, 2010, The Branson Auction will be celebrating 30 years of auctions here in Branson, Missouri. We are extremely proud of what has been accomplished over the years and extremely grateful for the friendships developed along the way. The Branson Auction is open to the public. General admission tickets are $10 daily or a 2 day pass is $15. Tickets will go on sale Friday September 10th at 10:00am and on Saturday September 11th at 8:00am in the atrium just outside the ballroom.
For your convenience there is $6.00 Valet Parking at the Sycamore Street Entrance just under the Skywalk. Tickets are on sale just inside this entrance. There is additional spectator parking in the city garage across from Valet Parking entrance, up to $8.00 maximum per day.

If you are interested in giving back to education and inspiring young minds, think about volunteering at Discovery Center. Discovery Center utilizes volunteers in all aspects of our non-profit operation. Working with exhibits and visitors on the floor to behind the scenes planning or building. Discovery Center has implemented some great fun and interactive training for staff and volunteers. As part of a new professional development program at Discovery Center, Portal to the Public (POP) uses tools and techniques to introduce materials-rich, highly interactive presentation skills to local scientists to help them communicate complicated science to the general public. Discovery Center staff quickly realized these skills help us to meet our mission of inspiring life-long learning and have integrated these tools into our staff and volunteer training to improve our visitors' experiences.

Learn new science, build a project or 2, get to see "behind the scenes" areas of the museum or special equipment, and lots more! Salute the men and women who fought for freedom and the historic DUKW on this patriotic adventure!
Celebrate the red, white and blue with our star-spangled land and water adventure as we salute America’s amazing service men and women. See the Ozarks riding an amphibious vehicle based on the famous WWII DUKW design. Quack along to patriotic music and see historic military vehicles as your US Coast Guard licensed Captain shares stories of the brave men who boarded these vehicles in WWII to serve the USA and the women, like Rosie the Riveter, who helped build them. An amphibian travels on land and water and you’ll experience that excitement as you head right into the lake for a Splashdown. You can even drive if you want as we salute America’s veterans.
